Compact mode. Drag the panel narrow and the keys become a column of coloured icons that work in one click: keys with options repeat the last thing you ran from them, Keyframes fits to the layer end.
Keyframes. The tools now work on every selected effect, also with plugins like Twixtor.
Plugins. Use as source takes the effects you selected in Effect Controls, or all of them, and Copy to all copies every one.
Presets. New presets show up by themselves, no Rescan needed.
Options. The panel remembers every option you set, between sessions.

Mac: Captions and Download. Both keys now work on Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel). The first time, the panel fetches the Mac speech engine and downloader by itself.
Mac installer. Install.command now opens right away (it came without permission to run).

Plugins. New key. Put an effect or plugin on every selected clip, animate it on one, then Copy to all: settings and keyframes, ease included, fitted to each clip (start to end, same timing from the start, or up to the end).
Clear Effects. New key. Removes every effect from all the selected layers in one click.
Download. The file now comes in exactly as the site has it: best quality up to 1080p at its original frame rate, never re-encoded. No quality picker any more. Add to comp now reliably lands on the timeline at the playhead. If a site suddenly asks for a login, the panel updates the downloader and tries again by itself.

Effects and plugins in Presets. The Presets list now also has every effect and plugin installed in After Effects (Reverb, Gaussian Blur, Twixtor, Sapphire…). Pick one and Apply adds it to every selected layer at once; layers that can't take it (an audio effect on a layer without sound) are skipped.
Guide. A Guide button at the top of the panel opens the explanation of every key in your browser.
Download fix. Videos with an unusual or changing frame rate now arrive at a standard frame rate, so the sound stays in sync in After Effects.

Download. New key. Paste a TikTok, YouTube or Instagram link, pick MP4 (720p to 4K) or MP3, and the file lands in your project, already imported — on the timeline at the playhead if you like. Video comes in as H.264, so After Effects always opens it. Windows for now.
Beat Marker marks the hits. Instead of a steady grid it now finds the sounds you'd actually cut on, a hair before the peak, the way editors mark by ear. New Fewer / Auto / More choice for how many. Typing a BPM still gives you the even grid.
Beat Marker fixes. One loud hit at the start of a track no longer wipes out the markers after it, and fast sped-up tracks no longer get a marker on every single hit.

Captions. New key. Pick the audio layer, press it, and the panel writes your subtitles as text layers with the right timing. It listens on your own computer — no account, no upload, no cost. Choose one word at a time up to a full line, any installed font, size, colour, shadow, outline or a box behind the text, where they sit, and an entrance animation. Windows for now; Mac follows.
Nicer options. Every key's options panel is easier to read: labels above the controls, everything full width.
New keys join at the end. If you had rearranged your keys, a new one no longer jumps to the top.

Mac. The download now includes Install.command for macOS. Same panel, same keys. First Mac release — tell me what breaks.

Sign-in and updates are faster and more reliable.
Offline: the panel keeps working for 3 days without a connection.
Installed 0.18 or 0.19? Download once more from the site — from 0.20 on, updates are automatic again.

Keyframes: Fit to layer end / Align / Stretch / Reverse now handle keyframes on several properties and effects in one click (they used to stop after the first one). Effect parameters without easing no longer break the command.
Position: the 3×3 grid is back — the drawer had lost its buttons in 0.17/0.18.
Presets: "Auto" fits the whole layer unless the preset name says In/Out. Adjustment Layer: "One per selected layer".
Physics expressions no longer block Position / Anchor Point.

Auto-update: the panel now updates itself when it opens — no more downloading new versions.

Beat Marker rebuilt: real audio analysis in the panel (spectral onsets, bar-based tempo, grid lock). Markers land on the hits that matter. Works on MP3, WAV and video files; falls back to After Effects' analysis for formats it can't decode.
Sync to beats: lay the selected clips end to end on the beat markers (every 1 / 2 / 4 beats, bottom→top or top→bottom).
Presets key: search Effects & Presets (.ffx, including your User Presets), favorites, apply to every selected clip with smart placement (auto / in / out / stretch / playhead) that keeps the preset's easing.
Easing presets: rename / delete inline. Keys: drag by the corner grip to reorder; ⋯ or right-click for options, plain click runs.
Beat markers are now named 1, 2, 3…

Sign in: the panel now asks for the email you used to download. One time, then it remembers you.
Layers key: Cut at playhead on all selected layers; fit to comp Width / Height / Fit; Center.
Keyframes key: Align to playhead, Fit to layer end, Reverse, Stretch — all keep the easing curve shape, like Alt-drag.
Physics: Overshoot, Bounce and Elastic as one-click expressions, removable with one click.
Stagger key: one after another (default, bottom → top) or N frames apart.
Easing: save your own presets (rename / delete inline), Read selection, "All keys on layers", Overshoot & Anticipate presets.
Your layout: drag any key by the grip in its corner to reorder; options open with ⋯ or right-click, a plain click just runs.
Softer animations everywhere.

New look: soft "cloud" theme, renamed to VSVX Softkeys.
Pre-compose keeps the exact clip span (no more lost last frame) and no longer crashes on locked or oddly timed layers. New Each separately mode.
Beat Marker: Keep % slider to keep only the strongest beats, plus Clear beats.
Easing editor shows the speed curve as a shaded area, live while you drag.
New Easy Ease key (F9).
One-click installer, compatible with After Effects 2019 and newer.
